What does Memoreel do?

Memoreel transforms your photos into custom artwork. This includes photo restoration, combining multiple images into one piece, pet portraits, and fully personalised designs.

What types of photos can I use?

You can use most photos, including old, damaged, or digital images. As long as faces and key details are visible, they are usually suitable for restoration or artwork.

What if my photo is blurry or damaged?

If your photo is heavily damaged or faces are unclear, it may not be suitable for full restoration. However, it can often still be transformed into a custom artwork that captures the moment in a more stylised way.

Can you combine multiple photos into one?

Yes. We can combine separate photos into a single seamless composition — perfect for bringing people or moments together in one piece.

Can I request specific designs or details?

Yes. You can include any ideas, backgrounds, or custom elements in the “Customise Artwork” section when placing your order.

What formats are available?

You can choose:

Digital file (sent via email)
Printed (A4 or A3)
Printed & framed (A4 or A3, delivered)

How do I place an order?

Simply select your product, choose your options (format, size, etc.), add any custom details, and upload your photos. A Memoreel artist will take care of the rest.

How long does it take?

Turnaround times vary depending on the complexity of the piece, but you will be informed of an estimated timeframe when ordering.

Can I see a preview before printing?

Yes, digital previews can be provided before final printing to ensure you’re happy with the result.

What if I’m unsure about my photos?

You can contact Memoreel via the contact page or social media and send your images. We’ll review them and get back to you within 24 hours (often sooner).

Do you offer revisions?

Yes, minor revisions can be made to ensure the final artwork meets your expectations.

Do you ship framed prints?

Yes, framed prints are carefully packaged and delivered to your address.

What frame options are available?

You can choose to frame your artwork in different ways — positioned close to the front or set behind an inner mount to add depth. You can also choose with or without a mount, depending on your preference.

Frames can be displayed horizontally or vertically, whichever suits your artwork best.

Each frame includes acrylic front protection, making it lighter and safer for shipping while still providing a clear, high-quality finish.

With an included adhesive hook, frames can be easily hung without nails or screws.

What materials are used for printing?

We use high-quality, premium materials to ensure a professional finish:

Portrait artworks are printed on 310gsm museum heritage inkjet paper, offering a rich, fine-art feel.
Restored photos are printed on 271gsm pearl lustre premium photo paper, providing a subtle sheen and enhanced detail.
